Mortgage Checklist

Below is a checklist of items we need to obtain from you during the loan process:

  • One month of Current Pay Stubs
  • Two years of W-2’s
  • Most recent two years of Tax Returns, both personal and business (if applicable)
  • Driver’s License and Social Security Card or Green Card for Resident Aliens
  • Two years of Employment History information
  • Two months of most recent Bank
  • Statements (providing all numbered pages for the following as applicable):
    • Checking
    • Savings
    • 401k
    • IRA
    • Money Markets, etc.
    • FHA loans require clients to provide three months worth of most recent Bank Statements, all pages.

If you currently own Real Estate, during the loan process you may also be required to provide the following documents: 

  • Warranty Deed
  • Survey
  • Owner’s Title Policy
  • Homeowner’s Insurance Declarations page
  • Property Tax Information
  • HUD 1 Settlement Statement

Your ability to collect and deliver all of these documents in a timely manner directly impacts the speed of your loan processing and ultimately affects your closing date.
